Antique Louis XV Style Walnut Armchairs, Late 19th Century

Carved walnut frames with scrolls and foliate details.

Embroidered needlepoint upholstery in a dusky pink with floral decoration.

Bought in rural Northern France.

Hugely decorative and equally comfy.

They are somewhat worn and faded and that’s why we fell for them. There is some wear to the upholstery here and there but this is forgiven. We have left the walnut frames dry and worn as we love the look and it can’t be put back but they could be polished up if so desired.

Each on measures: 86cm high x 61cm wide x 65 cm deep. The seat height varies a lot but is around 45cm.
