Antique Rustic Table With Storage

Originally coming from a carpenter's workshop in France.

Made from a mixture of woods including elm, oak and pine.

Of very higgledy-piggledy primitive construction. Thick slabs of wood and trunks make up the top and legs with open shelves and different-sized drawers underneath.

A highly decorative dry bleached finish to the exposed wood with mellow mustardy-yellow painted table top and drawer fronts.

Originally dating from the 19th century and has presumably been added to sometime in the 20th century.

It is in good vintage order, the frame is heavy, solid and sturdy, there is wear throughout which adds to its charm, tells its story and makes it what it is. There is some old woodworm present in the wood but we have treated this to be sure with non-toxic, naturally occurring mineral treatment.

Approximate measurements 120cm wide x 42cm deep x 70cm high.
