Antique Three-Legged Saddle Stool, 19th Century

Shaped ‘saddle’ seat with turned legs raised on ball feet united by turned stretchers.

Made by Victorian furniture maker supremo Jas (James) Shoolbred.

Impressed registered design number 222356 which dates to 1893-1894.

It is in good solid original condition and all joints are tight. There is some cosmetic wear commensurate with age. The seat is worn naturally from use and there are a couple of small chips in the feet.

Measuring 42cm long x 38cm wide x 42cm high.
