Vintage Shell Collection
Consisting of five separate colonies of large pink barnacle shells collected by the same family in the early-mid 20th century. Circa 1920s-1960s.
Originating from tropical seas in the Pacific and first described by Charles Darwin in 1854 we believe they are examples of the Titan Acorn Barnacle (Megabalanus coccopoma).
All are in good vintage condition with no serious issues and wear consistent with age.
The largest cluster approximately measures 22cm x 18cm x 2cm.
Delivery is £20 to the Mainland UK. If you live elsewhere please get in touch for an accurate quote. The shipping will automatically be added at check out unless you select collection.
