Memphis Milano Advertising Sign/Poster

An original point-of-sale sign advertising the Memphis Group that would have been displayed in Liberty & Co. flagship Regent Street, London store.

Probably designed by Ettore Sottsass or possibly another key member of the group.

Printed in colours on fibreboard.

Dating from c. 1983 when Liberty & Co. had exclusive rights to sell Memphis Group’s furniture and wares in the UK coinciding with the legendary Boilerhouse Project exhibition ‘Memphis Milano in London’ at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London (V&A).

The sign is in good vintage condition. There is some wear commensurate with age including scuffs and handling wear around the edges minor scratches etc. but no serious condition issues.

Approximate measurements 71cm x 49cm.
