Antique Glazed Studio Pottery Carp Figure
A very detailed and well-modelled fish (believed carp).
The texture and glaze are almost rusty iron-like but it is in fact made of pottery.
Finished off with glass eyes typical of the period.
Unsure of the maker but impressed with a makers mark monogram which contains the letters T or J, E and H.
It is in great vintage order, there are no large cracks or anything significantly wrong with it, there are a few small chips to the glaze mainly around the bottom edge but nothing serious.
It measures 53cm long x 19cm high x 17cm wide.
