Colourful Original Acrylic on Paper Painting

Using an acidic colour palette of lurid orange for the fish with a metallic silver eye against a stylised underwater backdrop of different shades of blue and purple for weeds and coral to great effect.

Initialled ‘T.M.’ to the lower left and dated ‘82’.

Framed and glazed in a simple black wooden frame.

It is hard to decipher however we believe the inscription verso reads ‘Tami Midgley 1994, For Tony with love from Tami & thanks for much help.’

The painting itself is in very good condition as has been protected behind glass. The frame is also in good order with only very minimal wear.

Overall measurements: 60cm x 48cm x 3cm.
