A set of six enchanting framed illustrations from a 1919 edition of ‘East of the Sun, West of the Moon: Old Tales from the North’, a collection of Norwegian fairy tales.
Kay Nielsen 1886-1957 was heavily influenced by Aubrey Beardsley's earlier illustrations and became one of the preeminent illustrators from the golden age of illustration.
Professionally framed and mounted in attractive matching frames.
They are all in great vintage condition with only very minimal wear.
Each one measures 37cm x 31cm overall.
