Mid Century Danish Walnut Writing Table

An extremely rare, early desk designed by Gunnar Nielsen Tibergaard.

Made by Ikast Møbelfabrik in Denmark.

Designed in 1955.

Wonderful kidney shape with tabour cupboard doors and shelving on the reverse.

Original brass handles and feet.

It is in good vintage condition, it is strong and sturdy and the drawer runs smoothly. There is some minor surface wear and tear as you would expect but nothing too serious.

A hard thing to measure because of all the curves but it is roughly 120cm wide x 90cm deep x 75.5cm high. The longest dimension across the top is 138cm.
