Children Playing Outside Manor House, Original Vintage Naive School Landscape Oil Painting, Mid 20th Century

£0.00

Vintage Oil Painting by Barbara Hamlyn N.E.A.C. (1921-1975)

Depicts two children playing with a ball on the grass in front of a grand manor house on a sunny winter day.

Painted in an evocative naive folk art style with great feeling.

Not much is known about Hamlyn other than she was admitted to the prestigious New England Art Club in 1961.

Probably dating to the 1950s-1960s period.

Painted in oils on canvas laid to board.

Framed in an earlier and complimentary gilt gesso frame, probably intended by the artist.

The painting itself is in very good vintage condition with no serious issues and only very minor wear commensurate with age.

Overall measurements 57cm x 52cm x 5cm.

Delivery is £30 to the Mainland UK. If you live elsewhere please get in touch for an accurate quote. The shipping will automatically be added at checkout unless you select collection.
