Probably the finest example of this type of mirror we have ever had.
Architectural design with very elaborate composite columns of Ionic and Corinthian forms holding up a cornice decorated with balls.
Deep frieze depicting a chariot pulled by lions and containing Apollo and followed by soldiers. There are winged heralds up above and maidens up ahead.
Original heavy glass with deep bevels on each panel.
It is in remarkable condition for its age. There is some wear and tear but far less than normally seen. Please see pictures.
Measuring 142cm wide x 10cm deep x 91cm high.
