Green opaline glass with swirly grey inclusions.
Green glass bead fringing.
c. 1920s-1930s in date.
Recently picked up from a dusty old barn in rural France.
Completely and sympathetically rewired by our professional electrician, ready to install.
There is a cracked section on one side of the glass shade. I am not sure if this was a fault during manufacture or whether it has happened at some point in its life but you can run your hand over it without cutting yourself and because of the swirly details you don’t notice it when hanging (this can be seen best in the last photo). There are also a few strands of the glass beads missing but the majority are there and this is forgiven.
Measuring: 24cm wide x 24cm deep x 34cm high. It is hanging on a twisted black cable that is 86cm long which that makes it around 115cm in total but could be shorted easily by cutting the cable.
