Cased Taxidermy Study of a Sea Trout
Old Sammy the sea trout here is absolutely full of character. His face is amazing, his teeth are sharp and his scales are so shiny. He really is a handsome devil.
I would say he dates from the 1930s-1940s period and is a very well executed piece of taxidermy in a varnished pine case with green back to emulate water.
He is in excellent vintage condition, please see photos.
The case measures: 52cm wide X 19cm high X 9.5cm deep.
