An original Ronson magic monkey ‘Pik - a - Cig ‘ cigarette dispenser from the 1930’s that oozes Art Deco style.
You take the lid off and keep your cigarettes inside, then the slide action mechanism reveals a recessed tray where the monkey reaches down its arm to pick up the cigarette. The platform base comes with removable lighter and strike panel.
It functions very well although I haven’t tried it with an actual cigarette. The condition is good with very minimal wear to the chrome or enamel, there is a kink to the box edge as shown in the photographs where it must have been knocked and it would also have originally had a felt covered base.
