19th Century French Faience Sink by Keller & Guerin Luneville
19th Century French Faience Sink by Keller & Guerin Luneville
Antique Blue and White Ceramic Sink
We have just got this stunner back from Provence in Southern France, it looks amazing in the shop and would look even better installed into a bathroom or used as a feature in a garden.
Made by Keller et Guerin (K&G) in Luneville in around 1870 this beautiful elegant and rare sink is decorated in the Begonia pattern. It features an oval main bowl with original brass waste, above are three different recessed soap holders. There is a lip around the perimeter.
Measuring: 50cm wide X 45.5cm deep X 14cm high.
The sink has survived remarkably well, there are a couple of chips, the larger being on the left hand edge, once the sink is mounted into position it would be fairly easy to disguise this so you don't see it. There is also a very small chip to the rim of one of the soap holder sections but other than these two it is free from damage. Please see photos.
