Painted using confident quick brushstrokes capturing light and shadow and somehow an element of moodiness to this otherwise normal subject matter.

Unsigned but seems to be by a talented hand.

Originating from Italy and probably dating to the mid-20th Century period.

The painting itself is in excellent vintage condition with only very minor wear commensurate with age.
