Antique Original Naive Oil on Canvas Painting

A charming scene depicting a white cottage in a mountainous landscape under a blue sky. If I had to guess I would say in Ireland, Scotland or possibly Wales.

Painted in a naive folk art style but using different techniques the artist has skillfully recreated the emotion of the scene.

I would date this to c. 1920s.

The painting is in good vintage condition, there is a little age-related wear and tear here and there but nothing that detracts from the image.
