Antique Original Oil on Canvas Paintings Depicting Young Twin Sitters

Depicting two young boys, reputedly twins that were close relations of Stanisław August Poniatowski (1732-1798), the last King of Poland.

A wonderful quality to each, you can definitely tell they are twins but each have their own personality. When I first bought them I thought they were wonderfully creepy but the longer I have lived with them the less I have found this. There is definitely some sort of energy there but I am now feeling this is more positive.

In later, yet complimentary gilt frames.

They are in good vintage condition, there is some minor wear and tear here and there as you would expect from age but nothing too serious.
