Signed to the lower left ‘Irene Butler’ and dated ‘1910’.

In its original gilt frame.

The painting itself is well-worn due to being barn stored for many years. The paint surface is worn and there is a hole in the canvas. The gilt frame is also worn and has missing pieces. The overall look of the wear is one of the reasons we fell for this piece, it could potentially be restored but we think it looks great how it is and its condition adds to its overall aesthetic.
