Painted with a palette knife and thick confident brushstrokes and a Philp Guston like colour palette.
I would date this to c.1920s-1950s.
Unsigned but of a good quality, one of those paintings where I imagine it could have been by someone of note but will probably never know…
The painting is in great vintage condition with only minor wear and tear.
