Limited Edition 1972, Enrico Baj, Double Sided Screenprint (No.2)

This Screenprint is by the late Italian Artist Enrico Baj and came from the signed limited edition book 'La Cravate ne vaut pas une Medaille' which is a collection of Collages and Screenprints by the Artist. The book is signed by the Artist and numbered 133/200. Published by Rousseau in 1972.

We are selling the Screenprints and Collages individually but can combine postage if you wish to buy any of the other Prints.

The Screenprints and Collages are each on good quality paper vellum.

The photos show the signed book sleeve covered in lego along with the signed and numbered inner sleeve, these are not included with the sale.

Each piece is a two-page spread and double-sided as shown in our photographs. The numbers in the title are purely for our own use to help us catalogue the collection.

They are in very good condition, the fluorescent colours of the Prints and Collages are still incredibly bright and they are not missing any of the collage pieces. As shown in photos some of the pages have age-related marks where the tape or print from a page has marked the page of another in a soft light worn cream discolouration.

Measuring when unfolded 75cm wide x 38cm height. When folded it is 37.5cm wide x 38cm height

This piece reads ‘il est indispensable for centre de ze pnomenes longtemps’ roughly translated
’it is essential for a long time’.
