Unearthed on Instagram: 5 Artists Who Blew Our Socks Off

——From furniture design to floral artistry, we have got you covered——

It’s easy to feel overwhelmed when looking for inspiration on Instagram. With an abundance of creative accounts capturing our attention, one minute you’re scrolling on home styling tips, the next you’re watching a reel of paint drying. Lo and behold’ 3 hours have passed…

But one of my favourite things about it is that you are only one scroll away from discovering some truly magnificent artists. Some of which only a few have discovered. It’s the home to a wealth of exceptionally talented designers showcasing their masterpieces and it would only be fair for us to share with you our current top favourites.

If you do one thing today, stop scrolling and check them out.

  1. @ellen.Pong, Ellen Pong

Ceramist based in New York; Ellen Pong has amused us with some of her unique pieces. Her work is symbolic of functionality made fun. From ceramic lottery tickets to funky chairs, we have definitely been won over with her playful designs.

2. @hellojustinmorin Justin Morin

Artist, Justin Morin, specialises in printed silk installations. His contemporary silk draperies are featured in many forms either knotted, tied or loosely hung. With references to the vibrant pop culture, his conceptual work exhibits sophistication and decorum.

3. @uunnaamm Manu Torres

Manu Torres has got it all figured out with these florist arrangements. His vibrant sculptural designs incorporate various materials from spray paint to feathers. His colourful aesthetic is not shy of experimentation and has certainly brightened up our feed.

4. @jonnyhonky Jonny Niesche

Australian artist, Jonny Niesche’s vision is clear with his minimalist, abstract sculptures that are unapologetically bold and bright. Niesche magical combination of colour, light and space are reflective of his youth and 70s glam rock.

5.  @thomas.coward  Thomas Coward

A designer of furniture, product and spaces, Thomas Coward captured our hearts with these bright red Lunar basins. On another planet from any mainstream pedestal basin; his studio creates bathware designs that maintain optimal functionality whilst being stylish and seductive.
