Vintage Map of Germany during the Reign of Frederick the Great

150.00

I was initially draw to how attractive the woderful intricate patterns and colours are in this map and only afterwards discovered how the map itself is rather a fascinating window of history. It shows Prussia at the reign of Frederick the Great from 1740 until 1801 although Frederick the Greats Reign in fact ended earlier in 1786.

The condition of the map as shown in the photographs is ripped and worn in areas but overall its got a great feel to it I think in part because of the wear it has. It hangs perfectly happily however and can be rolled up of course for easier transportation.

I ( or rather google) have translated part of the Key to the bottom right ;
